I'm in Texas. When I think of Abbot Texas I think of Willie Nelson's childhood home. For Uvalde I think of Matthew McConaughey. MM recently wrote a book, did a ton of interviews and then was in a bunch polling wherein he was a hypothetical candidate for governor. He showed very, very well. Had a feeling he wouldn't go to waste, and I knew he'd be on the Hollywood side of things. I also know Beto was called in for an audience with HRC in 2020, and he is funded by a lot of out of state and Hollywood money. I also know that nobody is excited about Greg Abbott, and Fort Worth which is Texas' last big red city, went Biden blue in the presidential election.

Maybe it's just a coincidence that the shooting was in Uvalde., home of MM. When he endorses Beto I don't think Texas will stay red. And HRC has had a hardon for TX for a long, long time. That would be a big get for her. -DP

An interesting coincidence.

“In 1999, after the mass shooting at Columbine High School that left 13 people dead, the NRA considered canceling its annual convention scheduled for a few days later in Denver but ultimately decided to go ahead with the event.”
