The Dept. of National Intelligences Releases Their Report on the COVID Lab Leak Hypothesis

And they share with us an organic, grass-fed, preservative-free nothingburger

The long awaited report from the Department of National Intelligence about the COVID lab leak has finally released, albeit 5 days late. The Biden Administration was supposed to release this report last Sunday, as per the COVID-19 Origin Act of 2023 that Biden himself signed into law, but who cares about following your own rules, right?

Late last night, the 10 page document titled Potential Links Between the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the Origins of the COVID-19 Pandemic was finally declassified by DNI Director Avril Haines quietly uploaded to the DNI.gov website (make sure you read till the end for a juicy piece of information on Haines). Excluding the title page and glossary, this contained only 6 pages of information pertaining to one of the most destructive and questionable events in human history. Did they hire a janitor from the CIA to churn this thing out with ChatGPT the morning it released? I think a 5th grader could have found more relevant intelligence about the COVID lab leak than whoever put together this report.

This report does state that it was prepared by the National Intelligence Officer for Weapons of Mass Destruction and Proliferation, but I could not find any information online about who exactly that is.

Diving into the report, it’s no surprise that the first couple pages already have big black “nothing to see here” bars etched across them. And here is our table of contents for the report:

Standout lines in the executive summary include, “This report does not address the merits of the two most likely pandemic origins hypotheses, nor does it explore other biological facilities in Wuhan other than the WIV”. The merits of the two most likely pandemic origins hypothesis? What is that supposed to mean, raccoons and bat soup? Are they already trying to undermine the idea of a lab leak in their summary here?

Also, “nor does it explore other biological facilities in Wuhan other than the WIV”. This conveniently leaves out other institutes that may have played a part in the creation of the pandemic, such as the Wuhan Institute of Technology. A quick trip down memory lane brings us to Dr. Charles Lieber, former chair of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard University, who was arrested in January 2020 for lying about the money he was receiving from the Chinese Communist Party’s Thousand Talents Program. I wonder if he, or the Chinese nationals he was working with (one arrested for trying to smuggle biological material out of the country), had anything to do with the COVID pandemic?

Page 4 bring us to a general overview about the Intelligence Community’s Assessments on COVID-19 Origins:

”The National Intelligence Council and four other IC agencies assess that the initial human infection with SARS-CoV-2 most likely was caused by natural exposure to an infected animal…Almost all IC agencies assess that SARS-CoV-2 was not genetically engineered. Most agencies assess that SARS-CoV-2 was not laboratory-adapted; some are unable to make a determination. All IC agencies assess that SARS-CoV-2 was not developed as a biological weapon.” - are we surprised that Biden’s Intelligence Community would come to that conclusion? Wait, why does it say “almost all”? Which of the IC agencies do NOT believe COVID to not have been genetically engineered? Don’t worry, all IC agencies don’t think it was a biological weapon, though. Nothing to see here.

Page 5 through 7 discuss CORONAVIRUS RESEARCH AND RELATED ACTIVITIES PERFORMED AT THE WIV and WIV RESEARCHERS WHO FELL ILL IN FALL 2019, complete with the intelligence community claiming they have “have no indication that the WIV’s pre-pandemic research holdings included SARS-CoV-2 or a close progenitor” and “no information, however, indicating that any WIV genetic engineering work has involved SARS-CoV-2.”

Are they inept, playing us for stupid, or do they truly not have any information about SARS-CoV-2 being genetically engineered?

Pages 8 through 10 involve a glossary of terms with their definitions, so all in all this report is only 6 pages of information, or lack thereof, from the intelligence community about the COVID-19 lab leak hypothesis.

No mention, of course, of Fauci and the EcoHealth Alliance and their gain-of-function research connected to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Funny - did you know Avril Haines, head of Biden’s Dept. of National Intelligence that put together this COVID lab leak report, participated in the Event 201 pandemic simulations? This was the exercise held by the World Economic Forum and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in October 2019 that brought together business, government, security and public health leaders to address a hypothetical global pandemic scenario. Interesting timing of those pandemic simulations, I must say.

If I had to throw my opinion out there, I’d say this is another in a long line of attempts to obscure the true origins of the COVID pandemic and shield the Deep State and Chinese Communist Party from involvement.
