Media Matters Runs Economic Warfare on Truth Tellers, This Time Getting Them Banned From "Buy Me A Coffee"

This makes nearly two dozens platforms that I've been banned from (so far) - must be over target!

A couple days ago I was sent a warning from some of my colleagues about a new Media Matters hit piece targeting users of the crowd funding platform “Buy Me A Coffee”.

Citizen journalists targeted in this campaign include Liz Crokin, Brad Getz, Redpill78, Just Human, and myself. Progressive watchdog Media Matters tried to smear us as being “QAnon influencers”, associating us with being supposedly disinformation peddling extremists. Typical guerrilla journalism, if you could even call it journalism.

Media Matters falsely accuses me of “pushing anti-semitism” and “urging people to ingest bleach as a way of treating COVID-19”. The anti-semitism claims are absurd, and the bleach claim is a grave misrepresentation of the facts surrounding chlorine dioxide, which is an effective pathogen killing agent and safe when ingested at small doses. There are store bought mouthwash products and water purification tablets with the main ingredient being chlorine dioxide. This compound is far different than “Clorox bleach” (sodium hypochlorite), which of course Media Matters and other mainstream media shills do not explain. So much for following the science.

Then this morning I received an email from Buy Me A Coffee letting me know my account was suspended due to “risk concerns”, whatever that means.

I have been on that platform for two years with no “risk”. What’s the problem now?

These cowards caved into Media Matters pressure campaign.

Yet another example of the economic warfare being waged by political activist groups masquerading as “journalism outlets protecting the public from misinformation”.

Media Matters has been trying to get us banned from platforms for years now, with the tactics always being the same.

Step 1: Write hit piece on citizen journalists labeling them as “QAnon influencers”, “disinformation peddlers”, and/or “dangerous extremists” who are using platforms to make money.

Step 2: Claim the platform is “making money off of disinformation extremists” and that the use of the platform by the citizen journalist “goes against their terms of service”.

Step 3: Platform bans influencers targeted in Media Matters hit piece

Media Matters has used this strategy over and over again throughout the years to pressure platforms to ban truth telling content creators from their services.

As for myself, Media Matters targeted me numerous times throughout 2021 and 2022 - they were instrumental getting me banned off of platforms like CashApp, PayPal, and Apple Podcasts, among others. Examples listed below.

A little bit of background on Media Matters, they were created in 2004 by left-wing operative David Brock as a non-profit media watchdog group. They are known for their aggressive criticism of conservative journalists and media outlets along with their guerrilla style information warfare tactics.

We like to call the reporters who work for Media Matters “Brockroaches”.

You may have heard about David Brock if ever researched the Pizzagate topic, as David Brock once had a relationship with James Alefantis, the owner of the Comet Ping Pong pizzeria in Washington D.C. No wonder Media Matters is going to hard against Q reporters and the likes if Liz Crokin, who has reported loudly on Pizzagate for years. What are they trying to hide and who are they trying to protect?

David Brock has also been involved in many Democrat supporting political action committees in D.C. over the years. He resigned as chairman of Media Matters late last year, November 2022, and now runs an organization called “Facts First USA”. It appears Facts First is going to basically do much of the same that Media Matters does, but instead of going after citizen journalists on social media, Facts First is going to go after congressional republicans in Congress who are trying to investigate Joe Biden. David Brock, the Democrats personal security man online.

In terms of Media Matters, it is difficult to find out exactly who funds them. On their website they haven’t posted any financial statements in three years, and that they are “still preparing” their 2020 disclosures.

The last financial statement available, from 2019, has a list of individual donors that have funded Media Matters to the tune of millions of dollars, some donating over a million dollars each in one fiscal year. Unfortunately, and not surprisingly, Media Matters does not list the identities of these shadow funders. They are nameless and faceless.

According to this financial statement, Media Matters employs a D.C. based, Democrat-aligned fundraising groups called “Bonner Group, Inc” to help find these donors and raise money for them.

Bonner Group is run by Mary Pat Bonner who used to be a political aide to Al Gore. Her Bonner Group has done fundraising for many Democrat PACs, including the “Ready for Hillary” PAC.

What we’re looking at is loads of dark, Democrat money funneling into Media Matters so they can be a bulldog for the establishment, working to silence and deplatform truth-tellers on these various platforms.

We can only presume that this economic and information warfare will increase as we head toward the 2024 election.

Getting banned from Buy Me A Coffee is another notch on the ol’ deplatformed belt for me. This makes over 20 platforms that I have now been banned from, I honestly can hardly remember all of them at this point.
