The number one goal of any immigrant is to bring in their families and friends. So typically we aren't just talking about one person coming in on a H1B visa. Personally, I've also talked to some who are here on the H1B visa who have no intention of assimilating and don't even bother to learn adequate English. So this isn't a black and white issue. There are valid second and third order effects.

Good article. Mediocrity worship has been raised to THE benchmark in the past few decades. It is analyzed in the book AMERICAN MEDIOCRITY. Wow! Mediocrity so great that it is branded.

When the IT department of an American company becomes racist against non-Indian employees, that is a problem...and it happens, as anyone knows if they've worked for in IT. Just like when any family or group makes up a large percentage of a company, it can drastically alter a company's culture. Elon's a smart guy. Is he saying that he is incapable of training his employees or hiring workers who are already here? It truly becomes unfair when American workers are unable to move up inside an entire industry because folks like Musk would much rather just import a work force. The same goes to hiring Indian companies in India to perform IT duties, even though they don't understand the day to day workings of the American company on American soil. The point of any immigration plan should not be "what's of use" to the business leaders over the needs of the American public, nor should the American public be denied jobs by wealthy companies that are simply too lazy to look for or train Americans.

I do not know how they are going to choose which illegal aliens (not immigrants) to be deported. There is a huge number of illegal aliens from many past years who found ways to blend in and make a living in the USA and not be operating in any illegal way. To me, many of those people should not be considered for deportation but should be made legal residents with full work permits.

I personally believe that we are in what are the "last days" or the "end times" or "the evil day."

I have always been suspicious of "AI Artificial Intelligence) and" ETs Extra Terrestrials" talk.

Here is a good video I just discovered today which tells us what is wrong with those ideas and why they are wrong.

Excellent article, Jordan! None of this discussion can be a surprise to any of the "instigators". I think it is highly likely that they worked it out with Our President in order to put a spotlight on this aspect of immigration/culture/work ethic that desperately needs it. If so, it's working!

This is a common sense approach. No need to distrust based on starting the conversation that needs american backing eventually. Vivek is only one man with an opinion. He will show who he really is over time in the MAGA movement. His stance on J6 was shortsighted and i would hope he is or has rethinked his position on that as DJT wouldn't have allowed him to bebpart of DOGE if he didtrust him.
