How well I recall the first major attempt to hijack or commandeer the Q movement.
It was around Feb.2018 and a lot of the unwashed, newly ‘awakened’ Q followers were sucked into paying attention to the ‘decodes’ of Dr. Jerome Corsi.
Who appeared to have DC level insider contacts and coincidentally had a book on the market.
So many were sucked in that Q themselves had to put out a post warning ‘becareful who you follow’.
By this time Corsi had amassed a significant following and this post caused a mini civil war in the Q community.’
Luckily Corsi himself was so inept and egotistical he actually thought he was a genuine wizard-level decoder and was determined to discredit anyone who dared to challenge him, even Q themselves.
That is until Q dropped a nuke on him with an incriminating photo of Corsi pictured standing together with known swamp rats.
As for what happened within the Q movement in 2019-2020, it was similar to what happened in the early Christian church with the schism between the Gnostics and the rest of Christianity.
I noted a significant number of people who called themselves ‘truthers’ who have strong New Age beliefs and followed New Age practices, that’s when the NESARA/GESARA and Quantum Financial System hokiness started appearing with the likes of Simon Parkes(UFO-Star child), “Dr.” Charlie Ward(straight up grifter) and others coming out of the wood work.
Some of them like Parkes were very well practiced and if you can find his podcasts from early 2020 you’ll see the style and manner of his presentations uses NLP (Neuro-Linguistic programming https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuro-linguistic_programming) methods to convince the viewer of his sincerity and authenticity.
Others then started mixing in Pleadians, Lightworkers, starseeds and a whole host of other New Age ideas and you had yourself a genuine Gypsy bunco scam riding the coat-tails of the Q movement.
Q asked people following those posts to practice discernment but how can you expect discernment from most people who have never been taught even the most elementary analytical and critical thinking skills? I.e, basic BS detection which by definition the gullible lack.
And don’t get me started on that Q-clock, which violates the KISS principle mentioned in this article in so many ways.
I would add, there seems to be two "spiritual" paths that these con-artists go down = some use New Agey narratives to rope in their followers, others use Religious fundamentalist ideologies to rope people in.
Either way, it's the create an emotional tie with their followers and a way to virtue signal behind religion and/or spirituality.
I was there from almost the beginning when I was first exposed to the Q posts in Dec. 2017.
I recall your white board days and also I recall when things started going "pear shaped" when those two ex 4chan mods branched off and started to try and capitalize on the growing interest in Q with their own posts and alt-media channels.
I come from a hard-science background where critical thinking is a prerequisite and I admired the attempt that Q had in trying to get people reading those posts to use their own minds and do their own research.
This was one of the key objectives of the operation, there no such thing as easy information and to never blindly accept information presented at face value.
A citizen journalist needs to practice discernment (ie analytical/critical thinking) at all times.
It's sad that so many were duped into following first the likes of Corsi and then Parkes/Ward, the latter was understandable when Q went silent and as you said (to paraphrase) nature abhors an information vacuum.
The next major disinfo threat will not be from the human element.
AI training is getting to the point of where it can mimic and assume almost exactly the same writing style and same "content" of any human authors.
I full expect some to try and use AI to try and scam followers with new Q posts which sound exactly like the original Q.
I'm surprised it hasn't surfaced already.

Thank you for the book link - I just put that on my "wish list"! I always loved science in school, although I never went to college. I have so much respect for true, as you call it, hard-scientists, who do real experiments and collect real evidence, data, etc. and who are HONEST and open-minded.
Rants for a rants sake is fine, but throwing everything under the bus puts you in a very precarious situation… that you know it all. Observational evidence is massive… something you might like to claim you have, but in reality you don’t.

I love Dave on X22 because he's always so positive at the end of every episode. He seems pretty rational to me, and does seem to always take a "wait and see" attitude. I find him calming!

Your objective and credible perception evidenced by your excellent expression have positively evolved over the last few years Mr. Sather. Have always appreciated your whole hearted enthusiasm in communicating - even in the regrettable days of your touting Corey Goode and David Wilcock.
